Technical Logistics Specialist

Meta is seeking a Technical Logistics Specialist to assist in the design and deployment of scalable and efficient tools that support all aspects of our logistics, spares planning, asset management, warehouse fulfillment and storage & distribution operations. This role will be required to work closely with cross-functional teams and across boundary organizations to gather requirements, design solutions, implement tools and processes to support Meta Data Center operations., 1. Design, build, test, deploy and maintain tools and software solutions to support internal automation opportunities

1. Work closely with software engineers to understand data structures, data sources and systematic processes during system development
2. Liaise with cross-functional teams to assist with best practices and to ensure end-to-end process and tooling consistency
3. Partner with the business and software engineers to design, deploy and maintain asset management, inventory management and logistical systems for Meta’s Data Centers
4. Lead sessions to identify process inefficiencies, gather business requirements, partner with development teams to manage deliverables, testing and validation, roll-out training, and triage and resolution of issues

1. 5+ years of experience building scalable tools for logistics and inventory management
2. Experience with technical debugging
3. Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
4. Experience explaining technical issues to both technical and business partners
5. Proficiency with SQL and understanding of database systems
6. Experience with one or more programming languages such as PHP, C++, Javascript, Python, 12. Experience building and maintaining applications using React
7. Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)

9. Experience with ORMs
10. Experience in implementing a Warehouse Management system, Inventory Management System or other logistical systems
11. Data Center logistics experience
12. Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies

14. Experience using Oracle, SAP or other ERP platforms for supply chain management
15. Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
16. System Architecture Design experience
17. Familiarity with web services and API ecosystems
18. Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
