UX Designer with Mentoring Skills | Financial Services London or Belfast | Hybrid working (a few days in the office) | Up to £77,000 + benefits | Permanent contract | SC eligibility required - min 5 years of residence in the UK mandatory Are you a UX Designer who enjoys solving complex problems, working directly with clients, and mentoring junior team members? We’re partnering with a leading global consulting organisation to hire UX Designers for their growing Financial Services practice. You’ll work on large-scale digital transformation programmes for major banks, insurers, and pension providers, helping shape user experiences that impact millions of customers. What you’ll be doingLeading UX activities across end-to-end digital transformation projectsCreating wireframes, user flows, information architecture and interactive prototypesDesigning user-centred experiences across web and mobile platformsConducting and synthesising user research and usability testingFacilitating workshops and stakeholder sessionsPresenting recommendations and design concepts to senior stakeholdersCollaborating with researchers, service designers, business analysts and engineersMentoring and supporting junior designers within delivery teams What we’re looking for4-5 years’ experience in UX Design, Product Design or Experience DesignStrong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX deliveryExperience with Figma and prototyping toolsUser research, usability testing and workshop facilitation experienceStrong stakeholder management and client-facing skillsExperience working in consulting, agency, product or transformation environmentsAbility to mentor or support more junior designersFinancial Services experience (Banking, Insurance, Pensions or Wealth Management)Experience working in regulated environments What’s on offer?Salary up to £77,000 (depending on location and experience)cash allowanceAnnual bonusHybrid working modelUp to 4 weeks working abroad per yearExtensive training and development opportunitiesAccess to industry-leading learning platformsExcellent parental leave policiesOpportunity to work on high-profile transformation programmes with some of the UK’s leading Financial Services organisations Additional RequirementsCandidates must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC), which requires a minimum of 5 years’ continuous UK residency.
