The Government Products team focuses on building and scaling systems that support long-term investing and account management for millions of customers. This team works closely with product, data, and infrastructure partners to deliver reliable, secure, and intuitive experiences. You will help shape systems that enable customers to plan for their financial future with confidence!

As an iOS Engineer on the Government Products team, you’ll help build mobile experiences for a historic initiative designed to expand market access for the next generation of Americans. You’ll ship intuitive, secure, and scalable features that make long-term investing and account management feel simple and accessible, while partnering with a high-performing team tackling some of the biggest challenges in financial access.

This role is based in our New York, NY office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

  • Build and maintain iOS features that support retirement accounts, account management, and customer onboarding experiences
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and data partners to deliver reliable mobile functionality tied to customer and business goals
  • Improve application performance, testing practices, observability, and release processes for the iOS platform
  • Contribute to technical design discussions and implement scalable mobile architecture patterns across the codebase
  • Participate in code reviews, documentation, and collaborative engineering processes that support platform reliability and maintainability

Requirements

  • You have 3+ years of professional iOS engineering experience building and shipping production mobile applications
  • You have proficiency in Swift and experience developing applications using modern iOS frameworks and architecture patterns
  • You have experience collaborating with product, design, and backend engineering teams to deliver customer-facing features
  • You are comfortable improving application quality through testing, performance optimization, and maintainable engineering practices
  • You communicate technical concepts clearly and contribute constructively during design reviews, planning discussions, and code reviews
  • Experience working on financial systems, payments, or account-related platforms (preferred)
  • This position is restricted to s or lawful permanent residents

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.

Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC)

$166,000-$195,000 USD

Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)

$147,000-$172,000 USD

Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL)

$130,000-$152,000 USD
