Job description

Our Buyer, a Fortune Aerospace & Defense organization, is implementing a Secure Development Environment (SDE) Infrastructure Deployment to support classified and controlled engineering workloads associated with Department of Defense (DoD) programs. The SDE architecture provides isolated development environments with strong boundary protection, identity controls, and dataset segmentation to ensure protection of program data in accordance with U.S. Government security requirements. The environment supports development, research, testing, and engineering activities across multiple programs while enforcing strict need-to-know access controls and system isolation.

Project Objective:

The objective of this engagement is to deploy the infrastructure required to support the SDE across two Buyer facilities:

· Dallas, Texas

· Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Deployment includes installation, configuration, integration, validation, and documentation of infrastructure components necessary to support secure engineering workloads.

The SDE infrastructure will include, This engagement will consist of an initial 6-month term with option for another 6-month extension. During the first 30 days of the engagement, the team will be onsite in Dallas, Texas to deploy the necessary infrastructure and then will travel to Cedar Rapids, Iowa for the next 30 days to deploy replicated environments. The following 4 months will consist of remote operational support of the environments onsite in Dallas, Texas while the team supports the buyer in acquiring DCSA Authorization-to-Operate (ATO). All travel and expenses, such as airfare, accommodations, rental car, and meal per diem, will be included - as well as engagement assets (laptop, badges, PPE, hardware equipment, etc.). Once ATO is confirmed, there is an option to extend for another 6 month period to maintain the SDE environments while working with the Buyer to perform Knowledge Transition and Operational Handover.
