Requirements

B.S in Electrical Engineering or Technician in an applicable engineering or science field.
Minimum of 3 years hands-on professional experience OR 7 years of experience without degree.
FAA Part 107 Certification, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
Extensive knowledge in BetaFlight, Ardu Pilot, and PX4 (minimum of 5 years experience).
Extensive knowledge or hands on experience building drones (minimum of 5 years experience).
Knowledgeable in electronic propulsion and combustible power systems (minimum of 5 years experience).
Proficient in building, testing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical assemblies. This includes knowledge of analog and digital circuits, AC/DC electronics and the ability to use test equipment, such as a multi-meter, spectrum analyzer, and oscilloscopes.
Knowledgeable and comfortable selecting electronic parts and sensors.
Comfortable working in a shop environment with louse noises and power tools. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Adept with power and hand tools for assembly and repairs.
Proficient using computer aided design (CAD) software for rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing.
Hands on experience using various 3D printing technologies, such as FDM, SLS, and SLA and strong understanding in selecting materials.
Skilled in soldering and de-soldering electrical components, including surface mounted devices (SMD) and various sensors.
Ability to perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues and conduct repairs using technical manuals. This includes hardware assembly, troubleshooting common error messages, and primary/secondary/servicing.
Familiar with C, C++, and Python. Ability to use developmental tools, including Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), compilers, and hardware debuggers, to compile firmware or troubleshoot low-level issues.
