Informatica Engineer

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Informatica Administrator to support and modernize enterprise data integration platforms. This role will manage both on-premises Informatica PowerCenter and cloud-based Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC/IICS) environments, while leading administration, automation, CI/CD initiatives, and migration efforts from PowerCenter to IDMC. The ideal candidate combines strong platform administration skills with cloud, scripting, and DevOps experience.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Administer and support Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC/IICS environments

Configure, upgrade, and maintain Secure Agents

Gather application requirements and ensure appropriate licensing and platform capabilities are enabled

Create and manage projects, folders, connections, user roles, and permissions

Support code migration and deployment activities across environments and organizations

Design, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for Informatica deployments

Automate operational and administrative processes using Python, Ansible, and shell scripting

Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot issues using tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and Autosys

Collaborate with cloud and application teams to support Azure integrations and services

Lead and support migration efforts from Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC

Ensure platform stability, security, scalability, and compliance across environments

Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica IDMC/IICS administration

Experience supporting both on-premises and cloud Informatica environments

Expertise configuring, upgrading, and maintaining Informatica Secure Agents

Experience managing Informatica projects, folders, connections, roles, and permissions

Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting

Experience with Python automation and scripting

Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

Knowledge of Oracle and SQL databases

Experience working with Azure cloud services and Azure AD integrations

Experience migrating Informatica assets and code across environments, organizations, and sub-organizations Experience with Ansible automation

Familiarity with Node.js

Experience with monitoring and operational tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and Autosys

Experience supporting enterprise-scale data integration platforms

Exposure to AI/LLM-enabled data solutions
