Requirements

  • 5+ years backend development
  • Node.js + TypeScript (primary language)
  • NestJS or comparable DI framework (Spring Boot transferable)
  • REST API design with OpenAPI/Swagger
  • AWS: Lambda, API Gateway, S3, ECS, Secrets Manager
  • CloudFormation / infrastructure-as-code
  • Jest unit testing, able to sustain a 100% coverage gate
  • Git feature-branch + pull-request workflow with CI gates

Preferred

  • Authoring/versioning internal npm packages against a plugin interface
  • Playwright E2E, Stryker mutation testing
  • Feature flags (Gatekeeper or similar)
  • OpenTelemetry / distributed tracing, Honeycomb, Splunk
  • Fastify, Redis, JWT auth
  • Brokerage domain: order routing, trade execution, cost basis
  • Prior Client experience, Dexter tooling
