STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer on behalf of our client in New York, NY. This role will support an enterprise investment management platform and serve as a key onsite liaison between business stakeholders and offshore development teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong .NET development expertise, production support experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Experience with the Investran platform and investment management environments is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Provide end-to-end production support for enterprise applications, ensuring availability and timely issue resolution. Serve as the primary onsite technical contact for business stakeholders and development teams. Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams to deliver enhancements, fixes, and releases. Lead incident management, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide technical leadership during application enhancements, deployments, and production releases. Monitor application health and proactively identify risks and performance improvements. Participate in architecture and design discussions, code reviews, and technical planning. Maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge repositories. Mentor team members and promote engineering best practices. Requirements
11+ years of overall IT experience with strong technical leadership capabilities. Strong hands-on experience with .NET and C# development, including ASP.NET. Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server. Experience working with Snowflake. Strong knowledge of web application development. Experience with VSTO (Visual Studio Tools for Office). Strong understanding of production support, incident management, and application lifecycle management. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated experience coordinating effectively across onsite and offshore teams. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with the Investran platform, including modules, data structures, integrations, and business workflows. Experience in Private Equity, Investment Management, or Financial Services environments. Familiarity with AI-enabled development tools and automation solutions. Exposure to cloud technologies and modern DevOps practices. Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production support environment.
