Job description

· Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain MySQL databases.

· Manage replication and high-availability environments.

· Perform database performance tuning and optimization.

· Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.

· Administer MySQL on Linux/Red Hat and AWS environments.

· Monitor database health, performance, and capacity.

· Work with developers to optimize schemas and complex queries.

· Automate DBA tasks using Shell/Python, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced MySQL DBA with 6-8 years of hands-on experience in MySQL database administration and Linux/Red Hat environments. The candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, upgrades, performance tuning, replication, high availability, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting of MySQL databases across on-premises and AWS environments. Experience with AWS RDS/Aurora, Redis, PostgreSQL, monitoring tools, automation, and scripting is preferred. Candidates must be comfortable working 100% onsite in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and participating in F2F evaluation.
