  • Documents integration procedures, configuration steps, and lessons learned to support repeatable customer implementations.
  • Coordinates closely with the Solutions Architect on priorities, technical approach, and schedule for both implementation and enhancement work.
  • Travels to customer sites as needed to support integration milestones and implementation reviews.

  • Willingness and ability to travel for onsite implementation work.
  • 5 or more years of flight software or embedded safety-critical software engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps practices for embedded/safety-critical systems (CI/CD pipelines, build automation, configuration management).
  • Working knowledge of modern systems programming languages relevant to high-integrity software (e.g., Rust, Ada/SPARK, or similar).
  • Experience integrating software into RTOS-based environments.
  • Comfortable working independently on a part-time basis while coordinating closely with a Solutions Architect and customer engineering teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field required.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Experience with DO-178C, CAST-32A, or comparable certification framework evidence generation.
  • Experience with fault-tolerant, redundant, or voting-based architectures for safety-critical control systems.
  • Familiarity with flight software middleware frameworks.
  • Experience contributing to software module design or enhancement work, not just integration/deployment.
  • CMMI Level 3 program experience and familiarity with SAFe/Agile Release Train delivery models.
