Job description
This position is on-site at Ft. Meade, MD. The specific schedule may be adjusted based on mission and customer needs.
Prepare, test, and deploy software updates using the MECM/Intune Management Console.
Patch servers and workstations using MECM and Intune.
Remotely access end-user endpoints, including desktops and servers, to perform software configuration, rebooting, and other technical actions.
Provide implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance support, and rapidly distinguish isolated user problems.
Operate, maintain, validate, troubleshoot, and resolve client agent health issues for MECM/Intune solutions; optimize collection management to minimize evaluation times.
Guide strategy, engineering, design, and project management for multi-user computer platforms, including MECM and Intune.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex endpoint hardware and software problems for multi-user computer platforms.
Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to collect data, conduct analysis, and develop and implement solutions associated with incident tickets and requirements.
Establish a comprehensive availability and capacity management solution using lessons learned for MECM/Intune applications and packages.
Develop solutions for complex technical issues and software remediation.
Provide follow-up reports covering technical findings, feedback, and resolution steps for root cause analysis, engineering technical assessments, and process improvement initiatives.
Mentor Software Packagers in problem-resolution activities and help resolve complex technology issues.
Apply detailed MECM and Intune knowledge to integrate those technologies within current on-premises and cloud environments.
Evaluate technology integration alternatives and recommend actions based on technical efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships across the organization.
Coordinate with the Operations Lead, operations functional team, and government representatives to prioritize user feedback and build a framework for endpoint requirements.
Implement flexible cross-training for systems management, software packaging, training, IAVM and POA&M, and testing.
Create presentations and provide status briefings to key stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Proven experience managing client and server system engineering resources supporting operations and sustainment teams.
Expertise across multiple complex work assignments, including broad assignments requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
Ability to operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems involving TTP development.
Ability to contribute to deliverables and performance metrics, where applicable.
Familiarity with Active Directory and Group Policy.
Active DoD IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE, or higher prior to start.
Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell and/or other scripting languages.
Experience troubleshooting issues in an expanding cloud environment.
A consultative and advisory mindset with the ability to guide Software Packagers through complex MECM/Intune package development.
Experience troubleshooting application issues in cloud and on-premises environments.
Experience handling Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Request Management.
Ability to collaborate with the MECM/Intune Release and Deployment Team when implementing new technology initiatives, standards, major changes, or production environment upgrades.
Benefits & conditions
Salary Range: $75,000-$125,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
