Job description
- Report to the WSE System Design and Architecture Manager supporting system design for both United States Government and existing/future Foreign Military Sales contracts.
- Support the Design and Architecture Threat Modelling team by modelling and analyzing threat missile behavior
- Develop and maintain MATLAB/Python scripts for threat analysis
- Support the Design and Architecture team by providing analysis of threat missile behavior
- Participate in system level design reviews and performance interchange meetings for future capabilities.
- Interact well with peers, leadership, customers and subcontractors
- Support technical discussions, and communicate in a clear and concise manner
- Take the initiative to support the WSE organizations goals.

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Knowledge or experience of systems engineering concepts and processes.
- Active or Current Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills
- Understanding of overall system engineering process
- Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) design and analysis
- Medium or high fidelity simulation experience
- System performance assessment tactics
- Scripting with Python, Matlab, Unix, Linux, Shell, Bash, C++, etc…
- Ability to define and detail solutions to complex problems and to convey solutions to both senior management and to the customer
- Demonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors
- Knowledge of AGILE process
- Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice

Full-Time Salary Range: $88100.00 - $163700.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
