Job description
We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our Fusion Generative Design and Simulation team in Kraków. Our team is responsible for delivering cutting-edge engineering simulation technologies within Autodesk’s Fusion platform.
We’re looking for technically skilled professionals who are passionate about data analysis and eager to embed data-driven thinking into everyday product engineering practices. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping how we design, build, and deliver products to millions of professionals worldwide. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to place data at the heart of decision-making, helping to develop and enhance simulation solutions across desktop, web clients, and supporting cloud services.
This position follows a hybrid work model based out of our Kraków office.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement key performance metrics in collaboration with Engineering teams to measure and optimize system performance
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards using modern visualization tools to democratize access to data insights
- Perform in-depth analyses to uncover trends, explain outcomes, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders-including data scientists, analysts, and product managers-to understand requirements and advocate for data-driven best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics and visualization, including dashboard development, data storytelling, and presenting actionable insights
- Strong proficiency in SQL for writing and debugging queries
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Looker
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) to collaborate effectively in a global environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python preferred, Java, JavaScript, Bash)
- Familiarity with product analytics concepts and tools
