This role designs and implements data structures, machine learning solutions, and automated reporting to improve data quality, forecast outcomes, and enable proactive decision-making across engineering, planning, and operations teams. Responsibilities

  • Analyze data from enterprise systems including SAP, Salesforce, Databricks, Power BI, financial, labor, and operational platforms to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Perform data exploration, cleansing, validation, and anomaly detection to improve data quality, reliability, and consistency across multiple data sources.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define data requirements, identify relevant data assets, and prioritize key initiatives that require advanced analytics and reporting.
  • Develop, validate, and maintain machine learning models for forecasting, predictive analytics, and scenario planning, ensuring they align with business objectives.
  • Apply statistical methods and model evaluation techniques, including R², MAE, RMSE, and cross-validation, to assess and improve model performance.
  • Leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering to support workflow automation, knowledge extraction, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Document methodologies, assumptions, model performance, and analytical findings to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and effective knowledge sharing.
  • Analyze variances between planned assumptions and actual project execution data to identify trends, risks, gaps, and root causes across programs and projects.
  • Develop automated monitoring and reporting solutions that track performance throughout the project lifecycle, providing harmonized insights to stakeholders worldwide.
  • Translate complex analytical results into clear, actionable business recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Act as a critical bridge between engineering domain data knowledge, business planning, operations, and IT teams by defining required data, data structures, and AI/ML solutions that deliver the most value.
  • Support centralized business operations and program reporting that provide predicted ranges of outcomes and scenario-based insights.
  • Build scenario planning models that test critical business assumptions and track project execution through Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other enterprise systems.
  • Identify gaps between planned project baselines and actual execution to drive proactive decision-making and optimization of HDPE operations program management activities.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and model implications clearly in written form to stakeholders and project teams.
