Job description

OSAAVA Services is seeking a GEOINT / MASINT Collection & Test Planning Analyst to support planned Department of Defense test events and sensor-collection activities at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC).

This position focuses on the planning side of intelligence collection-determining collection requirements, coordinating sensor configurations, supporting test-event planning, and ensuring the right intelligence data is collected to satisfy mission objectives.

The ideal candidate has experience connecting GEOINT/MASINT collection requirements with sensors, test events, and mission needs in a DoD or Intelligence Community environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Support test-event and intelligence collection planning for planned DoD activities.
  • Develop and provide input into intelligence collection requirements.
  • Support planning for GEOINT and MASINT sensor utilization.
  • Provide input into sensor configurations required to satisfy specific collection objectives.
  • Coordinate collection planning for events requiring unique sensor or intelligence requirements.
  • Support asset, flight, and ground test events.
  • Support simulated threat scenarios involving current and future external sensors.
  • Analyze GEOINT and MASINT sensor data associated with planned events.
  • Participate in planning meetings with government and technical stakeholders.
  • Coordinate test documentation and associated data requirements.
  • Assist with development of post-event data and intelligence products.
  • Support Missile Defense Agency-related test and collection objectives.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Direct experience with intelligence collection planning and/or test-event planning.
  • Experience working with GEOINT and/or MASINT sensors or sensor-derived data.
  • Experience developing or supporting collection requirements.
  • Understanding of sensor configuration and collection-planning concepts.
  • Experience participating in technical planning meetings and coordinating test requirements.
  • Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community missions.
  • Ability to work on-site at NASIC in the Dayton, Ohio area.

Highly Relevant Experience

Relevant backgrounds may include:

Who We’re Looking For

The strongest candidate doesn’t simply analyze intelligence after it has been collected-they understand how and why the collection happens in the first place.

You should be comfortable working across mission requirements, sensors, collection strategies, test documentation, technical stakeholders, and intelligence data.

Candidates with direct experience supporting MDA, NASIC, missile-defense testing, GEOINT/MASINT collection, or complex sensor test events are strongly encouraged to apply.
