Systems Manager, Platform Data Testing & Validation

Insight Global is seeking a Systems Manager, Platform Data Testing & Validation for a top utility and energy client. This candidate will lead a highly technical team responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and stability of a modern Enterprise Data & AI Platform. The ideal individual will combine leadership experience with hands-on expertise in data validation, regression testing, test automation, and defect management. They will partner closely with Data Engineering, Platform Operations, and business stakeholders to establish robust testing frameworks, automate validation processes, and continuously improve platform reliability. This is an excellent opportunity for a data quality and testing leader who enjoys building scalable testing practices while guiding a team that supports critical enterprise analytics and AI initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
• Experience leading technical QA/Testing teams
• Strong expertise in data validation testing methodologies
• Hands-on SQL experience
• Experience with test automation frameworks
• Extensive regression testing experience for platform and model changes
• Proven ability to create test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria
• Experience automating testing pipelines
• Defect tracking and resolution management experience
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Valid Driver’s License - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or related technology field
• Utility, energy, or regulated industry experience
• Experience with compliance and data sensitivity requirements
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms including, * Technical certifications in IT
• Experience with modern data platform testing tools
