Workday Extend lead developer- W2

Key Responsibilities: * Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications and integrations using Workday Extend. * Utilize Workday Studio to build complex integrations, reports, and business process automations. * Leverage Workday APIs (SOAP and REST) to connect Workday with external systems. * Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and other technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. * Develop solutions that address complex business problems, particularly within the Workday Financials domain (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management). * Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and deployment guides. * Troubleshoot and debug existing Workday Extend applications and integrations. * Stay current with new Workday features, tools, and best practices, particularly those related to Workday Extend and Workday Studio. * Provide

technical support and expertise to end-users and other team members. Required Qualifications: * 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Workday Extend Developer. * Demonstrated expertise in building and deploying custom applications using Workday Extend. * Strong proficiency with Workday Studio for building complex integrations and custom reports. * In-depth knowledge of Workday Financials modules (e.g., Financial Accounting, Spend Management, Revenue Management). * Solid understanding of Workday’s security model, business process framework, and reporting capabilities. * Experience with Workday APIs (SOAP/REST) and Web Services. * Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts (e.g., Java, C#) is a plus. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: * Workday Extend certification. * Workday Studio certification. * Experience with Workday Prism Analytics. * Experience working in an Agile development environment.
