Job description
Seeking a MES Technical Lead with 10+ years of experience for a 100% on-site engagement in Plano, TX. Serving as the primary point of contact for customer leadership (Business & IT VPs), this role requires deep domain expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)-specifically Proficy Plant Applications (PA) and SQL within the beverage/manufacturing industry. The lead will oversee program governance, design solution architectures, drive Industry 4.0 and AI adoption across Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) platforms, manage SSRS reporting, and integrate Kepware device connectivity while maintaining delivery metrics and SLA compliance., * Single Point of Contact & Governance: Act as the main liaison for client Business and IT VPs; manage weekly/monthly governance, program charters, RAID logs, RACI matrices, and KPI/CSAT tracking.
- MES Solution Architecture & Site Assessment: Architect and review end-to-end MES solutions using GE Proficy PA; conduct site assessments and oversee functional and technical solution design.
- Industry 4.0 & AI Innovation: Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives and lead AI adoption strategies across MOM applications to optimize shop-floor productivity and team delivery.
- Reporting & Device Integration: Build and maintain operational reporting via SSRS and manage PLC/SCADA device connectivity using Kepware.
- Operations & Delivery Execution: Track delivery metrics (MTTR/MTBF, schedule/effort variance, defect leakage) and orchestrate multi-functional engineering teams.
Requirements
- Core Experience: 10+ Years of experience in MES implementation, architecture design, and technical leadership.
- Primary MES Tech Stack: Hands-on mastery of Plant Applications (PA) and advanced SQL.
- Industry Domain: Specific experience in MES implementations within the Beverage or CPG manufacturing industry.
- Frameworks & Methodologies: In-depth understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts, MOM systems, and end-to-end program delivery governance.
- Executive Stakeholder Management: Proven track record interfacing directly with executive-level client leadership (VPs of Business/IT).
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) for manufacturing dashboards.
- Experience with Kepware for shop-floor device connectivity and IoT integration.
- Experience leading site assessments and defining enterprise manufacturing roadmaps.
