Requirements
- Experience designing and architecting IBM Guardium solutions tailored to client-specific requirements, including Data Activity Monitoring (DAM), vulnerability assessment, and compliance reporting.
- Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), including command-line administration, scripting, system troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Experience installing, configuring, and deploying IBM Guardium components, including Collectors, Aggregators, Central Aggregation Servers (CAS), and Universal Connectors, across diverse client environments.
- Experience developing, implementing, and fine-tuning Guardium security policies to monitor and audit sensitive data access and database activities.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services supporting database deployments, including Compute Engine, VPC networking, firewalls, Persistent Disk storage, and IAM.
- Experience with scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or Perl to automate database administration, deployments, monitoring, and operational tasks.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex issues involving IBM Db2, RHEL, IBM Guardium, and GCP, including RHEL kernel upgrades, Guardium K-TAP compatibility, Db2 traffic interception, GCP network latency, S-TAP buffer overflows, high availability/disaster recovery, and Compute Engine resource contention.
- Experience integrating IBM Guardium with enterprise security solutions, including SIEM, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and threat intelligence platforms.
- Experience utilizing Guardium Vulnerability Assessment capabilities to identify, analyze, and report potential security risks across databases and data sources.
- Experience configuring and generating database security and compliance reports for regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, SOX, HIPAA, and PCI DSS, and providing insights into organizational compliance posture.
