Job description

Castalia Systems is seeking a Mid-Level Geospatial Analyst to support a mission-critical intelligence program in Charlottesville, Virginia. The selected candidate will leverage specialized regional and functional expertise to analyze geospatial data, develop intelligence products, and produce high-quality analytic assessments. This role requires exceptional attention to detail and the ability to transform complex information into actionable intelligence that enables informed operational and strategic decision-making., * Develop intelligence products using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other analytic tools to support the warfighter.

  • Aggregate and analyze geospatial information and produce visualizations and modeling to support the production of intelligence reports.
  • Assist in identifying key locations and personalities within high-priority networks.
  • You’ll act as a strong collaborator and mission-focused team member who is comfortable working with other analysts, mission partners, and customers.

Requirements

Clearance: TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly

Must be a U.S. Citizen, * HS diploma or GED

  • 3+ years of experience with using GIS, including ESRI ArcGIS, Google Earth, GeoMedia PRO, or QGIS, to conduct GEOINT analysis in the DoD
  • 3+ years of experience with conducting open-source data collection, analysis, evaluation, and dissemination
  • Experience with creating intelligence products supporting mission requirements
  • Experience in representing an office or organization to internal and external audiences and providing customer service
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience with supporting strategic- and operational-level customers
  • Knowledge of GEOINT databases, including commercial databases, * Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with using business technologies, including Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Suite, or Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Python and other coding languages
  • Knowledge of DoD and intelligence community missions
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary at Castalia Systems is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, position knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $102,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Castalia Systems’ total compensation package for employees.
