Job description

QA Automation Lead/Architect with Kafka, AWS experience We are seeking a highly experienced QA Automation Architect with strong expertise to define and drive enterprise-wide quality engineering, test automation, reliability, observability, and performance engineering strategies. The ideal candidate will lead the architecture and implementation of scalable automation frameworks, reliability engineering practices, CI/CD quality gates, and cloud-native testing solutions to ensure high availability, resilience, and product quality., Quality Engineering & Test Architecture

  • Define enterprise QA strategy, standards, and testing best practices.
  • Design scalable automation frameworks for web, API, mobile, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
  • Establish quality gates throughout the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Drive shift-left and shift-right testing practices.
  • Develop and govern test automation architecture across multiple product teams.

Automation Framework Development

  • Architect and implement automation solutions using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Rest Assured, and other modern testing tools.
  • Establish reusable automation frameworks and libraries.
  • Develop API, integration, end-to-end, regression, and data validation automation.
  • Drive test data management and environment management strategies.

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

  • Define Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Error Budgets.
  • Establish reliability engineering practices across development and operations teams.
  • Drive production monitoring, incident response, and root cause analysis.
  • Improve system resilience, scalability, and fault tolerance.
  • Lead chaos engineering and resilience testing initiatives.
  • Define operational readiness criteria for releases.

Performance & Reliability Engineering

  • Design and implement performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing strategies.
  • Establish capacity planning and performance benchmarking frameworks.
  • Monitor application performance and optimise system reliability.
  • Identify bottlenecks and drive performance improvements across platforms.

DevOps & CI/CD Integration

  • Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement continuous testing across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve deployment reliability.
  • Ensure automated quality gates before production deployments.

Observability & Monitoring

  • Implement enterprise observability solutions using monitoring and logging platforms.
  • Establish dashboards, alerting mechanisms, and operational metrics.
  • Drive proactive issue detection and resolution.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve application telemetry and diagnostics.

Technical Leadership

  • Mentor QA engineers, SDETs, Automation Leads, and SRE teams.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and establish testing governance.
  • Drive adoption of engineering excellence and quality-first culture.
