• 15+ years’ experience working in an IT services organization.
• 10+ years of SQL DBA experience covering implementation, production support, and project work.
• 5+ years in an L3 / SME support role.
• 5+ years in globally client-facing roles.
• 5+ years of on-call support experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of ITIL processes.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong documentation skills, including MS SharePoint.

Mandatory Skills - SQL Server & Cloud Administration

• Senior-level Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience in large, business-critical environments.
• Performance tuning at both server and query level; working knowledge of Perfmon and SQL Server dynamic management views (DMVs).
• Knowledge of SQL Server internals.
• Knowledge of SQL partitioning and compression.
• Hands-on experience with mirroring, replication, and Always On.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server clustering.
• Hands-on experience with Integration Services, Reporting Services, and Analysis Services.
• Strong knowledge of SSIS packages.
• Automation experience with solid scripting ability - T-SQL, PowerShell, or Python.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server permissions and security policies.
• Experience with AWS RDS.
• MySQL knowledge and experience.
• Linux knowledge.
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Willingness to take ownership and drive work independently rather than waiting for assignment.
