IT Project Manager

• Managing and leading complex projects and teams within schedule, cost, and scope.
• Proactively managing the project with little supervision, resolving action items, issues, and risks.
• Initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects
• Controlling and monitoring project scope, time, cost, quality, and risks.
• Reporting on project performance.
• Managing stakeholder expectations.
• Leading and directing multidisciplinary project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget and scope.
• Assessing project health and directing any necessary corrective measures.
• Creatively applying project management processes to address unique situations.
• Creating and applying comprehensive project plans; detailed project schedules, resource estimates, quality requirements and metrics, and organizational change management activities.
• Defining and documenting project work breakdowns and monitoring project status.
• Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client
• Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support

Savvee Inc. is seeking to hire an IT Project Manager to support our federal client on-site in Norfolk, VA. Applicants must have extensive experience leading complex projects or programs ensuing their alignment with scope, cost, time, and risks. One must already hold a DoD Secret clearance and an active PMP, as well as being a self-starter with excellent customer service skills in order to be successful in this role., * Master’s Degree OR

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, math, or science PLUS equivalent work experience in direct support of DOD system engineering including IT systems project
• An active PMP certification, * A minimum of 8 years of experience managing and leading the successful realization of complex projects under a budget in excess of $10M.
• An expert knowledge of all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, stakeholders, human resources and communications management.
• Must currently hold an active DoD Secret clearance
• Strong problem solving skills
• Must have the ability to obtain the client’s Public Trust clearance
• A proficiency in utilizing MS Office products especially MS Project
• Proven knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and hands-on experience applying AI solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A highly motivated self-starter
• Must be motivated and have excellent customer service skills
