Job description

  • Urology physician needed for up to 12 months starting in December

  • Monday through Thursday schedule includes surgery from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM followed by clinic from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM

  • Friday schedule is clinic only from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no call

  • Availability required 1 to 2 weeks per month with 24-hour call Monday through Thursday

  • Setting includes both hospital and physician clinic environments

  • Duties include attending to clinic patients, on-call coverage for hospital emergencies and admissions, and performing surgery

  • Minimum of 17 patients required in clinic daily with ability to fill surgery slots

  • No Da Vinci robotics required; Trauma Level IV facility

  • Required procedures include cystoscopy, laser lithotripsy, ureteroscopy, prostate biopsy, sacral neuromodulation, hydrocelectomy, transurethral procedures, and additional urological surgeries

  • EMR systems used are Meditech and eClinicalWorks

  • Support staff includes clinic medical assistants, perioperative nurses, and registered nurses in clinic

Requirements

  • Board Certification highly preferred; Board Eligible accepted if recently out of residency with BC expected within 12 months

  • Oregon state license highly preferred; candidates willing to obtain Oregon license during credentialing will be considered

  • BLS and DEA certifications required

  • Clean malpractice history highly preferred
