The Telecommunications Installer (Level IV) is responsible for complex installation and modification of circuits, power transitions, and equipment testing on active power systems. This role includes troubleshooting, overseeing critical work activities, and performing Site Supervisor duties to ensure timely resolution of customer issues and successful project execution. This role will report to the Region Services Manager. \n \n, Perform circuit modifications, additions, and removals on active power distribution systems.\n Execute power transition operations and test/turn-up of power system equipment.\n Oversee volatile and high-risk work activities on job site.\n Serve as Site Supervisor, ensuring project compliance, safety, and quality standards.\n Troubleshoot complex issues using experience and sound judgment.\n Plan and accomplish tasks to meet customer goals and resolve key issues in a timely manner.\n \n
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of six (6) years of experience in DC power equipment installation is required.\n Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word \n A valid drivers license.\n Ability and willingness to travel approximately 100% and willingness to work different shifts (swing shifts).\n \n PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\n Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.\n Ability to operate motorized lift equipment to maneuver, install or remove 80-750 lb. batteries \n Frequently pushing or pulling of cables up to 60 lbs.\n Frequently climbing ladders up to 8 ft.\n Frequently working/standing on ladders for long periods of time\n, Strong customer service mindset\n Prior field engineering experience\n Strong verbal and written communication skills\n Electrical degree, certificate, or apprenticeship\n AC Electrical experience\n \n Proficient in using computer-based management and administrative tools, including Microsoft Office, Salesforce (SFDC), and Workfront. \n \n
