Data Science Developer

Our client is seeking a Data Science Developer to build AI agents and applications for an operations trade risk management platform. The ideal candidate is a young, enthusiastic mid-level developer eager to grow their career and comfortable working in a team environment with strong organizational and communication skills. This is a hybrid position based in Fairfield County, CT. Data Science Developer’s Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist the data science team in building AI agents and prompts
• Extend agent capabilities through MCP servers and skills
• Evaluate and deploy solutions on the company’s agentic AI platform

• At least 3 years of professional experience in a Data Science Developer or similar role
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or a Math-related field
• Proficiency in Python, Jupyter Notebook, and VS Code
• Experience with C# .NET and Visual Studio a plus
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP Vertex AI a plus
• Familiarity with large language models such as Gemini or GPT a plus
• Experience with SQL Server, Postgres, or BI tools like Power BI or Tableau a plus
