Job description

We are looking for a Power Platform Software Developer to support the development and delivery of business applications using Microsoft Power Platform within the Azure Government Cloud environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with technical and business teams to build scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications., * Develop and maintain applications using Microsoft Power Platform technologies.

  • Contribute to application architecture and technical design discussions.
  • Configure and maintain integrations between Power Platform solutions and Azure Managed MS SQL databases, Azure Blob Storage, and file storage systems.
  • Work with administrators to configure authentication and user access through Azure Active Directory and Office 365.
  • Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Design, build, test, and deploy Power Apps and Power Pages solutions.
  • Support product backlog activities, story sizing, and estimation exercises.
  • Create technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
  • Assist in training end users and supporting production deployments.
  • Ensure applications follow UX best practices and accessibility standards.

Requirements

  • Experience developing Microsoft Power Apps including model-driven and canvas applications.
  • Experience working with Power Automate and Power Pages.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and product development frameworks.
  • Experience integrating and managing data from multiple sources and formats.
  • Experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Familiarity with Azure Active Directory authentication and Azure cloud services.
  • Understanding of responsive design and multilingual application support.
  • Knowledge of ADA accessibility and WCAG 2.1 compliance standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Tableau or similar visualization platform experience.
  • Experience implementing automated deployment and DevOps practices.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
