Job description
The Network Administrator will support the administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of the organization’s enterprise network infrastructure. This role is responsible for Cisco switching and routing, Palo Alto firewalls, SD-WAN, VPN technologies, wireless networking, and network connectivity across multiple locations and data centers. The engineer will also provide Tier 3 support, assist with infrastructure projects, and help maintain high network availability and performance.

- Configure and manage Cisco routers, switches, wireless controllers, Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, and networking devices
- Support a complex SD-WAN environment connecting multiple locations and data centers
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network hardware, connectivity, latency, and performance issues
- Provide Tier 3 support for escalated Service Desk incidents
- Support enterprise wireless infrastructure
- Maintain network-attached video surveillance connectivity
- Assist with infrastructure upgrades, maintenance, and networking projects
- Create and maintain technical network documentation and diagrams
- Collaborate with IT teams across the organization
- Participate in after-hours and weekend maintenance and outage response
- Continuously evaluate and learn new networking technologies
- Perform additional networking duties as assigned
Requirements
- Enterprise network engineering experience
- Cisco routing, switching, and wireless administration
- SD-WAN implementation and support
- Palo Alto firewall administration
- Data center networking
- VPN technologies (IPSEC)
- TCP/IP networking
- Network performance troubleshooting
- Tier 2/Tier 3 support experience
- Infrastructure project implementation
- Network documentation and Visio diagramming
