FULL REMOTE FROM SPAIN (spanish resident only)We are actively looking for a Senior EDA Software engineer for a long term duration role full remote from Spain.As a senior EDA SW engineer, you are part of a team responsible for:* Developing an in-house SoC assembly tool as part of a SoC platform & IP catalog framework based on IP-XACTo Developing and/or testing new features of the in-house SoC assembly tool to support various topologies and functionalities in a System-On-Chip designo Developing and/or testing C++ generated digital blocks configured based on their IP-XACT instantiationo Developing checking tools/scripts to ensure quality of the IP and SoCo Interfacing an in-house SoC assembly tool with various other tools to manage the IP catalog, CI/CD, QA process* Developing CI/CD pipelines & continuously improving processes and automation approaches* Working with SW and HW teams in an integrated agile development processTo be successful in this role, you should have:* Proficiency in modern C++ programming with a good understanding of the Standard Template Library (STL)* Experience in RTL development (Verilog and/or VHDL) for digital IPs and/or Low-Power MCU chipsA very nice to have, setting you apart, is the following:* Experience with EDA tools and the hardware development process* Knowledge of SystemVerilog* Familiarity with a Linux software development environment* Experience with Git and CMake or similar tools* Knowledge of IP-XACT* Knowledge of shell and scripting languages (TCL, Python, Perl, tcsh, bash, Java)* Familiarity with ARC and/or RISC-V processors* Experience in writing a Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) and drivers* Experience in C programming skills in a bare metal/embedded environment (MCU-based SoC)Education* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar technical field, or equivalent experience* 5+ years of experience (recent) in both HW digital design and C++ software development

Requirements

Proficiency in modern C++ programming with a good understanding of the Standard Template Library (STL)
Experience in RTL development (Verilog and/or VHDL) for digital IPs and/or Low-Power MCU chips A very nice to have, setting you apart, is the following:
Experience with EDA tools and the hardware development process
Knowledge of SystemVerilog
Familiarity with a Linux software development environment
Experience with Git and CMake or similar tools
Knowledge of IP-XACT
Knowledge of shell and scripting languages (TCL, Python, Perl, tcsh, bash, Java)
Familiarity with ARC and/or RISC-V processors
Experience in writing a Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) and drivers
