IT Senior Systems Administrator (Internal Compliance)

Miami-Dade County is seeking an IT Senior Systems Administrator to join the Internal Compliance Department (ICD). This position plays a critical role in ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient enterprise operations. As a senior technical and analytical contributor, the incumbent will perform PeopleSoft security administration functions to maintain enterprise technology platforms that support departmental operations. Responsibilities include contributing to the design, analysis, testing, implementation, risk mitigation, and access control governance of systems. The role also supports structured decision-making for investments in security architecture, process automation, and compliance enhancements. This position qualifies for flexible work scheduling.

Do you have experience in System administration?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, Bachelor’s degree. Six years of experience in information technology systems administration including creating, analyzing, and managing information technology systems are required. Additional related work experience in information technology systems administration including creating, analyzing, and managing information technology systems may substitute for the required college education on a year-for-year basis.
