Job description
- Lead enterprise infrastructure operations across network, server, cloud, storage, telecommunications, and related technologies.
- Manage and develop infrastructure and support personnel while providing hands-on technical leadership.
- Lead infrastructure modernization and cloud migration initiatives, including migration from traditional on-premise Active Directory environments to Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and hybrid/cloud infrastructure.
- Manage enterprise Microsoft environments including Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, Azure, Hyper-V, RDS, SQL Server, and related technologies.
- Manage and hold Managed Service Providers (MSPs/MSSPs) accountable for SLAs, projects, escalations, service levels, and performance.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability management, patching, monitoring, and coordination with outside security providers.
- Lead infrastructure projects involving upgrades, migrations, new locations, acquisitions, and technology refreshes.
- Serve as an escalation point for major outages and critical infrastructure issues, including root cause analysis and disaster recovery.
- Partner with operations and engineering teams to support connectivity between enterprise IT and manufacturing/OT environments.
- Develop infrastructure roadmaps and business cases supporting modernization, reliability, security, scalability, and business growth.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical infrastructure expertise with proven leadership experience and will be comfortable remaining hands-on when needed., * 10+ years of progressive infrastructure technology experience, including significant management/leadership responsibility.
- Strong hands-on infrastructure background with enterprise Microsoft technologies.
- Demonstrated experience migrating on-premise infrastructure to Azure/cloud and hybrid environments, including Active Directory to Entra ID.
- Experience with Intune and Microsoft identity management.
- Strong experience managing MSPs/MSSPs, including SLAs, escalations and service delivery.
- Experience with enterprise server, network, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
- Experience supporting manufacturing and/or OT environments strongly preferred.
- Experience with disaster recovery, major outages, change management, patch management, and infrastructure security.
- Ability to lead multiple large-scale infrastructure projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, business leaders, and senior management.
- Bachelor’’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
