385 - Systems Integration Engineer

ARSIEM is looking for a highly motivated Systems Integration Engineer with proven experience in installing, configuring, developing, and integrating prototype applications for technical evaluation. The engineer will be supporting a lab environment providing support for customers developing and testing experiments. This position will support one of our government clients in Fort Meade, MD.

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5-years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree plus 3-years of relevant experience or an Associate’s degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• Must have an IAT-I certification, such as Security + CE.
• Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration.
• Strong Linux experience
• Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.
• Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.
• Experience setting up storage such as network-attached storage.
• Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying and maintaining nginx
• Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana
• Experience with SELinux and FIPS

$128,000 - $143,000 a year

The ARSIEM pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other laws., Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
