An international engineering and technology consulting group, Fortil is based on an independent model and brings together more than 2,500 employees.With 30 offices across 14 countries, Fortil fosters entrepreneurial freedom, innovation, and the development of individual potential.Job DescriptionAs part of the expansion of our engineering activities in Spain, we are looking for a Senior FPGA / Firmware Engineer (M/F) to contribute to the development of advanced embedded electronic systems within highly demanding engineering environments.Reporting to a technical manager, you will play a key role in the design, implementation and verification of FPGA-based solutions, supporting the full development lifecycle from system architecture to validation.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and implement FPGA firmware solutions using RTL methodologiesDefine FPGA architectures and contribute to system-level design activitiesDevelop and integrate FPGA functionalities for high-performance embedded systemsPerform FPGA verification and validation using simulation and requirement-driven methodologiesDevelop and maintain verification environments, testbenches and automated test proceduresSupport synthesis, place & route, timing analysis and hardware bring-up activitiesCollaborate closely with Hardware, Software and Systems Engineering teams throughout the project lifecycleParticipate in design reviews, technical investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, design documentation, verification reports and traceability recordsSupport continuous improvement of FPGA development processes and engineering practicesYour ProfileYou hold a Master’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, Embedded Systems or a related discipline and have solid experience in FPGA development within complex embedded or safety?critical environments.RequirementsStrong experience in FPGA design and developmentProficiency with VHDL and/or VerilogExperience with FPGA verification and simulation toolsKnowledge of RTL design methodologies and digital hardware architecturesExperience with FPGA implementation flows including synthesis, place & route and timing analysisGood understanding of embedded systems and hardware/software integrationStrong analytical and problem?solving skillsAbility to work in multidisciplinary engineering teamsNice to HaveExperience with SystemVerilog, UVM, OSVVM or similar verification methodologiesKnowledge of DO-254, ECSS or other safety-critical development standardsExperience with Xilinx AMD, Intel (Altera) or Microchip FPGA platformsFamiliarity with DSP, high-speed communication protocols, SoC architectures or RF applicationsExperience in aerospace, defence, space, transportation or other high-reliability industriesPrevious experience leading technical activities or mentoring engineersLanguagesFluent Spanish & English is mandatoryWHY JOIN USContinuous support for skill developmentAn ecosystem that encourages stepping out of your comfort zoneThe opportunity to become a shareholderEngagement in social and community projectsA dedicated parental support policyFortil is committed to equal opportunities.All our positions are open to people with disabilities, regardless of gender, origin or sexual orientation.#J-*****-Ljbffr
