Senior Protocol Engineer

For this role we’re seeking protocol-focused engineers who can work across the blockchain stack to ship new protocols while balancing speed and safety. The core expectations from a candidate in this role would be to:

• Develop and maintain smart contracts for the SVM.
• Develop and maintain schemes for collateral management on bitcoin where expressivity is limited.
• Design fundamentally sound protocols for lending and insurance.

• 3+ years of experience designing protocols for financial applications like decentralized exchanges and lending markets.
• Solid understanding of consensus, blockchain architecture and virtual machine concepts (especially as they pertain to Solana).

• Experience with audits, deployment and maintenance of onchain protocols.

• Prior experience building on top of bitcoin.
• Prior experience building application-specific blockchains from consensus and networking to business logic.
