Physicist, Data Imaging

• Degree in Applied Physics, Maths or Computer Science and PhD (or equivalent experience), followed by relevant project (academic or industry) experience.
• Demonstrable experience of 2D image processing applied to microdroplet based technologies (using ML / AI methods).
• Experience in developing complex algorithms (ideally using Python).
• An understanding of cell-based analytics would be beneficial.

Senior physicists with team leadership experience will also be considered as long as they also have the prerequisite technical skills.

The role is based mostly onsite with occasional home-working (up to 1 day a week) when projects allow. Interested candidates should therefore be based close to Cambridge or be willing to relocate to be close to Cambridge.
