Job description

Based in Edinburgh, as a Lead Software Engineer, your role will include managing a small team of software engineers as well as providing technical direction through architecting and C++ development. Your work week could include recruitment of new software engineers, mentoring members of the current team, and strategic discussions to deliver engineered products.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Electronics or similar.
Demonstrable experience of the software product lifecycle including successful delivery to market.
Experience of leading / managing a software development team.
Good communication skills including how to motivate individuals, manage projects and ability to work collaboratively with other stakeholders.
Specific experience in Cloud technologies would be desirable.

Additional exposure with electronic design platforms, analogue circuit design, and SQL databases would be beneficial.
