Software Engineer, product development

For this rewarding role, you will have a good degree (2.1 or 1st from a leading university) in Computer Science or similar, and relevant commercial experience. You will need to be credible in front of clients and understand the principles of software engineering, including specification and validation within the full software development lifecycle.

Projects are in a variety of application areas: primarily medical devices but embracing consumer products, lab instrumentation and biotechnology. This role will suit someone who enjoys working in different languages and development environments. There is plenty of opportunity to learn new skills.

Typical areas of interest are: applications development with C++, C#; embedded systems using RTOS or Linux; mobile platforms; Test Driven Development.
