Job description

In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions that meet both business requirements and technical specifications. You will leverage your expertise in software development to contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable and maintainable software systems.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software applications and components using industry best practices, coding standards, and design patterns. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets quality and performance standards.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers, sharing best practices, mentoring, and reviewing code to ensure adherence to quality standards and architectural guidelines.
  • Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements, user needs, and technical constraints. Translate these requirements into technical specifications, design documents, and implementation plans.
  • System Architecture and Design: Participate in the design and architecture of software systems, selecting appropriate technologies, frameworks, and patterns. Design scalable, resilient, and secure solutions that meet performance, reliability, and scalability requirements.
  • Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards. Implement automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals. Communicate technical concepts, project status, and risks effectively to key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python, C#, JavaScript, and software development frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, DevOps).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
