Requirements

Do you have expertise in 4G or 5G protocols coupled with excellent C++ coding skills? This growing start-up is seeking an exceptional software engineer with core network expertise to join their Agile development team, working to create ultra-mobile technology for use in consumer, public sector, and enterprise applications.

You will be involved throughout the development process, working collaboratively with other bright engineers. Tasks could range from agreeing requirements and creating designs, through to implementation and trouble-shooting any issues.

You will need:

  • A 1st or 2.1 degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or similarly applicable subject from a well-regarded university
  • Excellent C++ coding skills including experience developing commercial-grade software
  • A good understanding of software data structures and how to implement algorithms which are computationally efficient
  • Experience with the GCC compiler, Linux, and Agile development practices
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes

Benefits & conditions

This is a great opportunity to work on cutting-edge 5G technology that will underpin new services and capabilities. You will be working predominantly remotely with occasional office visits for meeting and equipment exchange (so, you do still need to be able to get to Cambridge in a reasonable time). A competitive salary and benefits package are on offer to the successful candidate.
