Embedded Test Engineer

This successful and innovative company is seeking a skilled software test engineer experienced with testing embedded systems and ideally hardware description language models (i.e. Verilog or SystemVerilog). You will be working together with talented software developers and electronics engineers to ensure this company’s hardware products perform to their potential with minimal faults or failures in the field.

While you will primarily be constructing automated testing suites to cover a variety of software, you will also be working with CI/CD tools and source code management tools to improve the company’s software development processes. Due to the specialised nature of the work carried out at this company, additional knowledge of the internal structure of ICs will be beneficial to your application.

Requirements:

• Strong automated testing skills, ideally with Python.
• Working knowledge of embedded electronics systems and firmware development in C / C++.
• Working knowledge of FPGA or IC development and testing in Verilog / SystemVerilog.
• Good understanding of CI/CD tooling, source code administration, and software package management.
