Open Source Systems Software Developer

This role is perfect for anyone dedicated to the open source movement and who wants to contribute to its continued success. You will be working in a team of similarly impassioned developers building business critical systems in areas such as communications, security, and finance., * Contributing member of the open source community, with excellent understanding of both the social and technical requirements for running an open source project.

• Good knowledge of the Django web framework plus supporting technologies such as database design and administration, container-based development practices, and CI pipeline design and maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills in English. Required for working in a global company as well as for writing technical documentation and providing friendly and respectful technical support.

Knowledge of other modern web languages and frameworks such as Go, Rust, Ruby, Laravel and Rails would be beneficial but are not required.

You will be working in a well-established company with a broad customer portfolio. Your colleagues may well be located all around the globe, so experience working as part of a remote team is valuable. While there is an office in Cambridge that you can use, you are free to work remotely from anywhere.
