Job description

New innovations in medical device instrumentation and hardware usability are being created through how users interface with such products. This leading consultancy has a strong background in user experience, and is looking to further their capabilities of modern mobile and tablet app development. They seek an experienced and progressive software developer to join them and take a lead role on technical projects around app development.

By joining this consultancy, you will liaise closely with their in-house UX/UI group on user experience, looking to translate their findings into technically robust functional products. You’ll be part of the entire development and design process including as wide-ranging as idea generation, design testing, and sales meetings.

Requirements

With a degree in computer science (or similar) you’ll have relevant subsequent industry experience in software development including a track record in developing iOS apps on mobile platforms (ideally interfacing with hardware). This will include experience with Swift, Xcode and Python.
You’ll have experience with medical software development standards (although other regulated / highly documented processes will be considered).
Ideally you will have exposure with wireless connectivity (Bluetooth, NFC, WiFi) and may have experience with cloud services (AWS or Azure). Any experience with Android development would be beneficial.
As this is a consultancy role, you will have strong communication skills and be comfortable working closely with clients as well as technical teams.

This is a new role within the team, and as such is looking for candidates with relevant technical experience in order to provide new skills and expertise for the group.
