Job description

In this role, you will work on a range of electronics and electrical systems for miniaturised laboratory instrumentation systems. You will be involved throughout the product development, from requirement capture, project planning, through to hardware design, prototyping, test, and transition to manufacture.

Requirements

  • A 1st or 2.1 degree or Electronics or Electrical Engineering from a well-respected university
  • Hands-on electronic and electrical development skills covering most of the following:
  • Design of high voltage, DC, RF, digital circuitry. Using A/D and D/A converters effectively in high noise environments
  • Control theory and firmware development
  • CAD skills with Solidworks for mechanical assemblies
  • PCB layout (Altium skills preferred), prototyping, and design for manufacture
  • Good understanding EMC compliance, safety, and working within the ISO9001 quality standard
  • Sponsorship is not available, so you will need full, existing right to work in the UK without restriction, time limit, or sponsorship.
