Job description
This is a rare opportunity to work on software integral to the latest generation of scientific experimentation and discovery. You will be working amongst a team of specialists from the realms of physics and software engineering to design, develop and maintain a set of applications used by clients in Europe and the USA. Your work will directly impact the capabilities of scientists probing the very nature of the universe.
Requirements
- 1st or Master’s degree in a STEM subject from a Russell group university.
- Practical knowledge using C++, C, or Python to develop scientific or technical software. This could come from hobby projects, internships, or significant university projects.
- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
Additionally, any knowledge in the following areas would be beneficial but is not required: control systems, real-time software, or interfacing with hardware (Arduino, IoT, Robotics, etc…).
