IT Operations Engineer

As an IT Operations Engineer (m/f/d) at DOCUFY, you’ll be part of a dedicated team that ensures our software applications run smoothly. You’ll keep our product environments available, secure, and performing at their best. You’ll also automate processes where appropriate and continuously improve our operations. In this role, you’ll work closely with the product teams and take on responsibility right from the start., * Ensuring the stable and secure operation of our in-house software solutions on servers and in the cloud

• Responsibility for availability, IT security, maintenance, and updates of the operating environments
• Expansion of monitoring and deployment, including automation
• Comprehensive documentation of the operating environments
• Implementing requirements for the operating environment using appropriate tools and interfaces
• Technical support (2nd/3rd level) related to the operation of our software
• Identifying opportunities for improvement in operational processes and implementing them independently
• Advising and supporting other teams, for example in the further development of our products

• Qualifications: A degree in IT or vocational training in system administration with several years of professional experience and a focus on DevOps or Operations, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience: Independent administration of various server software on Linux and Windows, as well as proficiency in scripting and automation
• Tools: Experience with common server technologies, e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, NGINX, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Apache, Tomcat, WildFly, CHEF (Don’t know every tool? No problem! What’s more important to us is that you can get up to speed quickly)
• AI Tools: The targeted integration of AI into your daily work is second nature to you.
• Skills: Technical understanding and strong problem-solving skills
• Work Style: Independent, structured approach to work
• Motivation: Willingness to take on responsibility and familiarize yourself with new topics
• Languages: Very good German and good English skills
