Build Systems Engineer

Creating adaptable software build tools to support worldwide product development

We are seeking a brilliant Build Systems Engineer, skilled in designing modular and flexible build systems to handle multiple targets and configuration options.

As a Senior Build Systems Engineer, you would be a key member of their development team. You will be making a valuable contribution to this leading consumer technology leader, helping them create systems to efficiently build the constantly evolving software that powers their range of products. The role will be based in the company’s Cambridge offices, but your expertise will be appreciated by engineering colleagues across the globe.

• A 1st or 2.1 in a relevant science or engineering discipline from a well-respected university
• Solid experience and a deep technical understanding of software development for embedded Linux
• Experience with designing complex build systems for embedded targets. You will need to be skilled in Make, and preferably at least some of CMake , OE, BitBake, Buildroot, and Ninja
• Good skills with Git and Docker

You will also need full existing right to work in the UK without restriction, time limit, or sponsorship.
