Developer Advocate

A lively, relaxed and friendly technical team are expanding in Cambridge. Their modern cloud platform offers a host of capable APIs to their developer clients. In this role you’ll help them make the most of the platform, smooth their experience and educate them through your guidance, writing and demonstrations.

You’ll have a technical background, whether from development, product management, applications engineering or developer relations. Ideally you’ll have significant expertise in one of these areas; promising candidates newer to these areas will also be considered.

The following areas are of interest:

• Expertise as an applications engineer, product manager or other client-oriented role
• Documentation skills, writing technical how-to guides with sample code
• Awareness of cloud platforms, web APIs and/or REST, GraphQL
• Existing software development skills (particularly in Python, C# or JavaScript)
• Familiarity with engineering software packages, for instance CAE, PLM, CAD, EDA
