Linux Software Engineer

A trailblazer in the home entertainment industry is seeking an experienced firmware engineer who has in-depth knowledge of SoC development and integration using the embedded Linux platform. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and enjoy working “hands on” as part of an ambitious team. They will also have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering experience
• 3+ years of relevant commercial software development experience
• Solid knowledge of audio / video streaming protocols and media playback engines
• Extensive experience in systems programming with C/C++
• Thorough understanding of Linux, tools, libraries and open source development
