Job description

We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Business Analyst to support a major enterprise data and analytics programme. This role will focus on understanding business reporting and analytics requirements, identifying relevant data sources across the organisation, and helping shape the future data and reporting landscape.

Working across Supply Chain, R&D, Product Development, and related functions, you will engage with stakeholders to understand the information they need, determine where that data resides, and work with technical teams to deliver meaningful reporting and analytics solutions.

This role is particularly suited to candidates from FMCG, CPG, Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, or Health & Beauty environments with experience managing complex product and supply chain data., * Gather, analyse, and document business, reporting, and data requirements.

  • Work with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, reports, and analytics needs.
  • Identify and map data sources across multiple systems and business functions.
  • Analyse complex product and supply chain data, including BOMs, formulations, ingredients, and specifications.
  • Produce business requirements, data mappings, and reporting specifications.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and BI teams to deliver analytics solutions.
  • Support data quality, governance, and master data initiatives.
  • Investigate and resolve data gaps, inconsistencies, and dependencies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst/Data Business Analyst on data, analytics, BI, or transformation programmes.
  • Strong experience gathering requirements for reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to identify required data and trace it across multiple systems.
  • Domain knowledge across Supply Chain, R&D, Product Development, or PLM.
  • Experience within FMCG, CPG, Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, or Health & Beauty sectors.
  • Experience working with SAP ECC data, particularly Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive requirements through to completion.

Desirable Experience

  • Databricks, Power BI, or modern data platform experience.
  • Exposure to PLM platforms such as Teamcenter, Windchill, or Enovia.
  • Experience with data governance, master data, or data quality programmes.
  • SAP experience.
