Full Stack Software Engineer - Hybrid Working

Building software tools with React, C# and Python, for a greener future

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join a forward-thinking start-up looking to improve the environmental credentials of one of the world’s most polluting industries. This is a hands-on engineering role with full stack involvement, but would also entail taking the lead on the company’s front end development.

This concept is the brainchild of a Civil Engineer and an Environmental Engineer. You would be working with the latest in web technologies to create solutions that will increase efficiency and environmental compliance, bringing to light opportunities for more sustainable ways of working.

This role has a high degree of flexibility and can be largely remote, though you should be able to attend the London office on a weekly basis for team meetings and social events. The company has a friendly and supportive culture and good opportunities to pick up new technical skills.

• A 1st or 2.1 degree from a well-respected university in a relevant STEM subject
• An excellent practical knowledge of the React framework together with strong coding skills in C# (or similar modern OO language, e.g. Java or C++)
• An interest in user interface design, Python coding skills, or a knowledge of Data Science would all be useful but not essential
